Pretty much dead on but the offender was a native born black 17 year old who is reported to have been very religious and a regular attendee at a church local to them.
The far right made out that they were a brown, Muslim asylum seeker.
That all started from one news outlet that quickly shut it down but the far right ran with it like a baton at the Olympics.
BBC did a great BBC verify article on it.

No worries. Yeah the article is great. They did go to some lengths to try to get to the bottom of it in fairness. Those BBC Verify articles are always absolutely spot on.
