It’s Freddy Mercury, the lead singer of Queen and the joke is about the song Fat Bottomed Girls. Some of the other jokes in the comments are referencing the fact that he was a closeted gay man for a large portion of his career.
I thought he was bi
Afaik he never labelled his sexuality himself, but had both male and female partners.
Shit, have I been misinterpreting “Bicycle” this whole time?
He wasn't gay. Just bike-curious.
I was just trying to make it clear to the other commenter that he liked men. He could have described himself with a bunch of different gender fluid terms I would guess.
Aha thanks, I didn't know about Fat Bottomed Girls either. I knew about Stout Hearted Men but I'm sure that's entirely different.
Why not both tho
And Freddie clearly agreed with the sentiment too
Brian May wrote Fat Bottom Girls, not Freddie Mercury.
