Is nobody going to ask how Anon getting beat up in the parking lot is relevant to the story? There’s no indication that Anon’s classmates followed them out to the parking lot. The incident feels more random.
Am I overthinking this instead of drifting off to sleep? Most likely.
Of course it happened exactly like that. Nobody would ever just make shit up on 4chan, right?
The joke is that Anon is a very irresistibly punchable sort of person and so of course they would be a victim of violence. A common theme in greentexts is projected anxiety about peer rejection for not conforming.
Isn't this greentext mocking Linux users? Am I not understanding and the author's perspective is actually that they like Linux but feel ostracized?

Probably, how else would they accurately identify specific limitations with it that someone who doesn't use it would probably gloss over? It's some combination of self loathing and playing on the insecurities of the reader to bait a response.

I guess what is being implied is that Anon is an insufferable "linux is better then windows" nerd and that the bullying is therefore "justified".
But don't read too much into it, it's just a funny 4chan haha greentext.
