Some people call series 'movies'
That's just them being categorically wrong though
yeah movies are when the pictures move silently. This is a talkie.
I remember my first talkie. It was 6 minutes long.

Meh. Netflix has made a few series and then turned them into movies once the series was complete.
That's different and not the norm.
Plus you wouldn't call the series version the movie or vice versa
Some people are stupid.
Ok, Prescriptivist, except they are the one using movie in its original meaning: "moving picture".
