Weekdays off are the best: Shops are open, attractions have lower amounts of visitors, I can be noisy outside all day because workday - I would absolutely trade weekends for two free weekdays if my job asked for that. Well, I wouldn't, I would hmmm and hrrph and make them pay me on top, no need for them to know what a good deal that would be.
