Are we living under shariah law or something? "Man and woman shall not speak to each other unless they are married, lest they be stoned to death"

When the progressivism comes full circle

It should also apply to anyone, not just men or women. Don't talk to anyone, just shut the fuck up.

Half the time in a city, people won't even say "good morning" back.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 8 months ago

depends on the city

depends on the person who says "good morning" and how they say it

Half the time in a city, someone who says "good morning" is trying to scam someone. It's not the best strategy to flip a coin on entertaining a scammer.

I won't deny that I have on at least one occasion stood on a street corner with a tablet in my hand, trying to greet random people with no ulterior motives.

True, this is a phenomenon I experience in America, and I did not consider it being different in other countries. Is it different in other countries?

There are definitely many many countries (or at least cities in those countries) where saying hi to people you walk past isn't given a second thought.

I'm so sick of having to mime marriage proposals.
