  • The author canceled their Amazon Prime subscription on a whim and realized they didn't really need it.
  • Leaving Prime meant slower shipping but the author was happy to wait and still found the selection and delivery speed satisfactory.
  • Many people love Prime for its fast shipping and convenience, but some readers expressed ambivalence and considered canceling.

Was it an Amazon branded delivery truck? Sounds more like a shipping company fuck up if not

No idea whether or not it was a branded truck (it was a while ago), but it wasn't under any other sort of brand - Amazon deliveries are done by people employed by or directly contracted for Amazon.

All of my amazon packages come through UPS or the postal service. Not really sure how much interaction they actually have with Amazon

In the UK it's either Amazon vans or unmarked vans (eg a self employed person who is contracted by Amazon and uses their own vehicle).
