This comic follows on from the Previous comic which will almost certainly provide context.

The spell Konsi's talking about is "Fortune's Favour" - it's level 2, consumes a 100gp pearl to cast, and lets you re-roll a single D20 within the next hour. It's in Explorer's Guide to Wildmount.

It's been a little while due to drawtober, and my website is (mostly) functional again, so if you want to read all the Konsi comics from the beginning, you can do so on my website at this link. Please be advised that these posts are presented in reverse chronological order, so start at the end and work backwards.

I was surprised to see the TCE Summon Fey spell got reworked for the new PHB. I was very surprised to see they realized the Tricksy Fey needed the darkness buffed. I was even more surprised to see they did not understand why the darkness needed to be buffed. 🤦‍♂️

Tales From the Tables is back with episode 44: Steel, Blood and Fire!

Angela has an unexpected meeting in the Fugue Plane. And the more seasoned D&D games among us will recognize a familiar face.

Apologies to James Ohlen, but this was too funny of a spin not to take :)

As always, you can find the whole story on Tapas or Webtoon. And please consider supporting us... it means more than I can express.

I've had to make it the moment I saw ghosts aren't immune to being stunned, and once I was done, I've decided to share, 'cause why not.

Transcription: Four panel comic. First panes shows a ghost saying "They finally went to sleep. It's time to strike." while phasing into the material plane, indicated by turning from green to purple. In second panel the ghost attacks someone on the ground with its claws, causing them to yell "YEOUCH!". Third panel shows that it was a monk, and they perform a stunning strike on the ghost. Both silhouettes are grey on this panel. On fourth panel the ghost is stunned and surrounded by grey silhouettes of a barbarian with an axe, rogue preparing to backstab, and a caster casting fireball.

In my last session, a player gave a sleeping dog heroin to cause it to overdose. Horrific stuff really

For those wondering, we didn't die mostly due to a well-placed Disintegrate. My "stick an immovable rod in its innards" was disappointingly low damage.

For those wondering otherwise, our best plan involved turning it into a regular worm, using an immovable rod with a hole drilled through the length of the staff, clicking the rod, then dispelling polymorph.

Searing Vengeance, Level 14 Celestial Warlock Feature

Starting at 14th level, the radiant energy you channel allows you to resist death. When you have to make a death saving throw at the start of your turn, you can instead spring back to your feet with a burst of radiant energy. You regain hit points equal to half your hit point maximum, and then you stand up if you so choose. Each creature of your choice that is within 30 feet of you takes radiant damage equal to 2d8 + your Charisma modifier, and is blinded until the end of the current turn. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest
