It's hard to find clothing not made in Asia. So I wanted to shout out Community Clothing, of Patrick Grant, Great British Sewing Bee fame. It's where I buy most stuff now, and I love it.

I've recently found out that Garnier is affiliated with Nestlé which is awful. Been using their bleach for a while now because it's affordable and vegan compared to other brands which aren't specifically marked as vegan.

Do any of you guys have recommendations?

Hello, I got a comment on my previous post recommending I post it here as well.

I had the Philips one but after about a year it's suction changed to the point where it's hard for it to pick up cat litter now..

It must be able to deal with a lot of cat hair and litter.. and preferably be under 500 euros.

Of course I think a corded one is better for my purposes, and I have mostly hard floors with a few small rugs.

The problem is that every year the quality decreases, so it becomes difficult to know which vacuums will still be good. For example, someone may have purchased the same vacuum 5 years ago and think it's great but the one sold today might not compare

Objectives

This initiative calls to require publishers that sell or license videogames to consumers in the European Union (or related features and assets sold for videogames they operate) to leave said videogames in a functional (playable) state.

Specifically, the initiative seeks to prevent the remote disabling of videogames by the publishers, before providing reasonable means to continue functioning of said videogames without the involvement from the side of the publisher.

Hi, look what I found! Hope it's as helpful for you as it's for me as well 🥂

A bit hesitant to post, but here it goes.

When Buy European started it got me immediately hooked into implementing practical changes in my everyday life. One of the first steps was de-googling myself (as much as possible), and with that change my default search engine. For that I built a custom simple start page that offers a European alternative at random https://gohug.eu/

My collection of saved posts, bookmarks, and notes became a bit cumbersome. So I decided to add a bit more to the website and list the main resources, to always come back to. Hope some of you find it helpful too: https://gohug.eu/join/

So here it is. A web devs way of trying to participate and give something back. Cheers
