Fwiw, I've had no issues playing CS2 on either with my old (3700x/1080ti) or newer setup (5800X3D/7900XTX) with PopOS. The first doesn't seem too far away from your rig, have you tried switching the Nvidia driver you're on? I think Turing is fine with 560?

Does your display specifically support HDR? If not it doesn't matter whether the codecs/media/metadata support it, you won't gain from it

Fwiw I started out with PopOS as I had a 1080ti and am still with it having moved to a 7900XTX. No issues with it apart from the Pop Shop being slow which should be remedied by the new Cosmic version
