I can't speak for that specific article but nachdenkseiten.de is usually full of shit. They spread misinformation and are nazi apologists. Please be careful with your sources and try to verify information you read online.

In Germany, if you're in jail you can't be elected into office. You can however always cast your vote even from jail (except for rare and extreme political crimes such as terrorism, starting a war and such)

They usually do if they don't use kernel level anti cheat. But it's a bit more complicated than Steam. There are guides online. It's manageable but it's not "click play and you're done" like steam

For most users it probably just comes down to what is installed on their machine when they buy it. People generally don't think about operating systems a whole lot.

Fairphone 5 can force slow charging via settings. I use it all the time because I usually charge over night and it helps preserve battery life.

Yet, people made the journey to Australia over 50000 years ago, long before they had developed agriculture, wheels or domesticated animals. There was no navigation or fancy ships. And they did in the hundreds. Enough genetic diversity to settle down for the next 50000 years.
We are very far from doing that in space and beyond our solar system it may even be completely impossible. But who knows what happens in the next 50000 years.
