Think that's where we differ though - I don't think the artist is complaining, just observing. If my significant other has a quirk and I identify it even in meme format, that doesn't mean I'm demonising them no? Some of my friends who are women complain about when I offer solutions to problems they just want to rant about so I related to this in a way - imo that's not a bad thing, just different and perfectly valid. My GF however likes when I give her inputs on how to handle situations. Both are fine, and I actually preferred my female friends telling me they don't like it because then I could ask my girlfriend or even just other friends (men and women) "by the way, do you like when I offer solutions or would you prefer me to just listen?" The difference between this and boomer humour is the latter would then go onto say "that's why I hate my wife" lol.

Liberals and leftists exist elsewhere outside America. There is nothing about the original post that yells exclusivity to America.

Everything has something to do with politics. People saying "stop shoving politics into everything" just don't like to he confronted with that fact, when some people are forced to confront that fact outside of political discourse every day. There are literally billions of people in poverty around the world due to the direct actions of some of the most powerful governments the world has ever seen. But you and a few people could not possibly even bear seeing a meme talking about Leftists and Liberals because that's too political hahaha what the fuck.

I find posts like this so confusing. Does politics, i.e.the policies organisations across the world implement to actively change the way the masses live not directly or indirectly affect your life? Whenever someone says something like this I just assume you're not within a marginalised group because there's no way you'd make an enlightened centrist post like this otherwise.

Collectivist =/= Communist, I am tired or arguing with Red Scare Americans who do not understand what Communism even is, nor understand the fact that a government that implements mass privatisation that the Nazis put in place is the exact opposite of communism. Fuck me.

Me when I ignore the numerous amounts of right wing genocidal dictators installed by western capitalist governments in other countries in the name of capitalism (I am using Black Book of Communism rhetoric, a book that included stagnating birth rates and death of Nazi figures in war to inflate my figures as I have no other argument of substance).

So you don't know what communism is since you mentioned it needing a state. I guess Nazi Germany is communist because of the "collectivist" goal of the Nazi party to improve the "motherland." Wtf am I saying, you probably actually believe that.

I wonder what you think the motive behind colonialism and the transatlantic slave trade was.

Because it pushes surface level feminism
