Because in most countries including Germany social networks filter these kinds of posts and try to fight against misinformation, racism, etc.

Tiktok can be used as a weapon. It can stir up communities and manipulate views. My impression is that it is done on purpose and it's been instructed by the Chinese government.

I don't have a proof but in American politics you can see tendencies against Tiktok. They are aware of these subtle issues.

Many first timers on Tiktok report that the first thing they see is this nazi crap right after registration. This is not normal.

Right wing parties like AfD want to get rid of everyone who is not a perfect German. Many people who have citizenship have a mixed origin. These are not "true Germans".

Other parties are careful. They respect the constitution. And they know that without foreigners, German economy in all sectors would become difficult to handle. Many companies and services rely on foreign workers. So it's not that easy as it seems. Foreigners don't choose Germany as much, as they think. And this is even more a problem.

Also AfD says lots of bullshit. They lie that Germany does not already expel criminals. No one cares to look at facts. For many it's easier to believe those fucks from AfD than to actually check what they say.

Have you read about their views or asked them?

Small lesson on populism.

Populism: "They do nothing."

Not populism:

  • take a close look at a case where a convicted criminal hasn't lost their protection despite being a previously recognized fugitive
  • look at the reasons why a court has difficulties with it
  • look at the situation that caused the crime
  • decide what to do with the laws or the situation of the fugitives

Populism is just being a lazy fuck and don't even start to search for any solutions. And being a lazy fuck is the primary problem with all those nazi fans in Germany.

Read above please. You cannot import GPL code into BSD licensed code without restricting the code distribution. In the other direction, you can do it and just add a notice about the license. It does not add restrictions to the distribution. Otherwise Linux distributions wouldn't even have OpenSSH in base install images.

Of other software, yes. For example Linux distributions can use the BSD or MIT licensed code without any problems.

But it does not allow to remove the license from the software.

On the other hand GPL code cannot be imported into BSD code without introducing restrictions.

If you think about how many people use proprietary Android by Google, it is exactly comparable.

Comparing numbers is pointless here. Fact is that GPL has more conditions when you're allowed to use and modify the code. More conditions means more restrictions. And this means, less freedom.

At the moment large companies sponsor the development, without being forced to do so. And they allow developers to spend time on the project for free.

The foundation also makes sure that devs sign an agreement otherwise the code is not accepted.

So where is this all proprietary?

Hi. Nobody here. Do you know that if you own a PS5 or Nintendo Switch, you're a FreeBSD user?

Maybe we've got a different idea what it means to be a user.

Unfortunately, OnePlus began to lock their Phones with OnePlus 7 and latest Android versions. It was very hard to install LineageOS under these circumstances.

Stay away from them is my recommendation now.
