Never heard of it. Surprised there are any apps still going after the API pricing change.

More fun and hobby related stuff. Lemmy is depressing and hateful AF. Feels like most of the people here are afflicted by "Politics as a Personality". At least on Reddit it is pretty easy to avoid that by only subbing to hobby subs but most of those are dead on Lemmy. I switched to using mostly Reddit on my PC again and just using Lemmy on my phone since there is no good mobile reddit app anymore.

The problem is almost always with our society and not the technology itself. AI is fine, the way people are using it and the fact that people need jobs to exist in society isn't.

The WiFi password?

I've blocked it now, I didn't realize I could.

Sounds like most instances need to defederate from lemmy.ml then. Or I need to make my own instance and defederate.

Stuff that brings me joy. Posting left wing political shit on lemmy is like, the epitome of preaching to the choir. Every time I see some unnecessary political take that everyone here agrees with anyway, like there's always that one person in any thread that has to bring politics into things and I'm just like nope, I'm out. Got better things to do than have my mood ruined by thinking about the worst parts of life. Its like you people are intentionally trying to make everyone miserable.

Uhg, walking. Sounds like work.

It could be said that blocking traffic benefits oil producers by increasing gasoline usage and making people less sympathetic to the cause against them. Wasn't there a case of someone in the oil industry paying people to protest in a similarly asinine way?

Some people really just don't care about that at all

I miss those so much. Any modern games still playing with this concept? I remember Half Life had the bathroom, kitchen, and office, and I remember a backyard one in Quake 3 that was really cool.
