It's a toss up between them or the "illegals." While they do hate trans people, it's a more convincing argument for people who aren't complete idiots to say it's because of an increased demand caused by non-citizens taking resources from patriotic American citizens™

Murdoch and Bozos didn't offer a $1m-a-day lottery to voters. There's being a propaganda machine, and then there's not-vote-buying-by-technicality. Musk is the latter.
You're putting far too much faith in the voters at this point.
Depending on how the cost of living situation goes, Trump is either going to take credit for improvements set in motion before his 2024 term, or he's going to astronomically tank it and blame it on the previous administration. No matter which happens, he will frame it to make himself look better than the Democrats while the MAGA crowd eats it up.
Considering voter turnout for the Democrats was abysmal compared to 2020, yes: it is the fault of those stupid people choosing to abstain from voting because good enough wasn't good enough.
Tough times make Tough people <------ Your light of hope.
No, the tough times were 2020-2024 when the fallout of Trump policies raised the cost of living, helped erode women's rights to their own bodies, and encouraged corporate enshittification to go even more out of control.
It's now "tough times make bigoted people who scapegoat minorities," apparently.
I'm a sucker for punishment and have been reading some of it. Here's a tiny sampling of Reddit:
Apparently, FOX called WI for Trump. That puts their estimates at him for the win, passing 270.
On a related note, MAGAs on social media are gloating and "owning the libs" like jackasses, as expected.
I'm waiting for the AP to call it, but yeah—it's looking extremely bleak.
PA alone is 90% reporting with Trump leading in all but 7 districts and having nearly 3.4% more votes. Nothing is finalized, but if that sample is indicative of the overall votes (which by the law of large numbers, 6 million samples is probably accurate), he takes it.
I hate to say it, but Harris would need a miracle to win that state, let alone the other three.
The funny part is that all but maybe a handful of those people are going to be the ones under the boot, rather than the one wearing it.
I mean, yeah. They'll turn it into shit.
You mean interfering with a fair election process by paying voters to choose a specific candidate is not interference?
