Doesn't Odo lose his *surprising ability for part of the show? I imagine he had to start wearing clothes.

Edit: *shapeshifting... I feel like autocorrect made the sentence better. I like it and it kind of works so I'm leaving it.

I'm by no means an expert though, so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

Good on you for trying to help though, seriously. And OP I wanna hear if you're able to get it squared away.

Sounds like you and indie games have a lot in common.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That is a totally fair question and one that I simply overlooked. Technically you can buy Gulikit through Amazon. I personally appreciate that the cost of it doesn't go up over like a regular controller. Scuf did me dirty, I had a scuf for all of two months before the lb button fell apart and they refused to repair it. That thing cost me $185. This controller cost me $70.90 and has lasted me about two years. Here is a link to the Gulikit store on Amazon. I do recommend making sure it is from that store. I don't know anything about it, but there is a AKNES store which sells gulikt controllers. https://www.amazon.com/stores/page/BCC8C06B-7BF5-4D6C-A9A0-6290B8091F02?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_ast_store_VJNBFMTJC962ENMFECCM

On an unrelated note, if you have joy cons with stick drift (who doesn't have these) then Gulikit also sells just the stick modules so you can fix it for good.

For PC, I would personally suggest looking for a controller with two things. Number 1, Hall effect sensors. Eliminate stick drift entirely with that alone. Number 2, replaceable joysticks. If the sticks last a long time, then the controller is expected to last longer. I just think having a way to replace work rubber is a good thing. Personally, I have loved Gulikit. My controller also happens to work on switch as well. Here is a link of you are interested in checking it out. Note that that is the controller I have, but you should definitely look at the different models. My controller has lasted about 3 years now. I used to go through PS5 controllers in about 6 months.

Hasn't Ken Paxton actively been raiding the homes of Hispanic Americans because he was trying to prevent them from voting?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/08/28/texas-attorney-general-ken-paxton-voting-rights/74983344007/

You're right Republicans aren't going after people being on the ballot... This time... No this time they are trying to disenfranchise voters entirely.

Look at Arizona: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/supreme-court-rejects-republican-effort-to-block-over-40000-arizona-voters-but-partly-approves-proof-of-citizenship-law

Look at Georgia: https://www.cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco/news/republican-backed-georgia-rules-risk-undermining-election-certification-critics-say/

In Arizona they were trying to restrict voting this election. Georgia goes even farther and gives counties the right to refuse to certify an election that was won by someone they don't like.

Sure I don't support any effort to block someone from the ballot. In fact, I don't support any effort to block on either side of the ballot. If a person is trying to get elected, or just trying to vote they should not be blocked. Yet in the end, people are hurt significantly more by their own and literal thousands of others votes blocked than by not being allowed to be on the ballot.

I need to give you one more chance to retract, no questions asked. Before this conversation becomes a confrontation.

Edit: Just an American quoting a Canadian show to you. Nothing actually confrontational about it. In fact, everyone who responds with a quote from the same show gets an updoot.

I gotta be honest, I don't like these memes. O'Brien was a great character and yes he was transported chief in TNG. But he was also a badass in DS9 and I'd certainly celebrate that than poking fun at him.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 weeks ago

True, but if Republicans are talking about the electoral college let's talk about eliminating it. They have the "silent majority" and making that change would ensure that elections would go to what the people want. It was only created as a compromise between those who wanted a democratic vote and those that wanted the Senate to elect the president.

Fair enough. I'm relatively sure that Vivaldi does the same freezing, however I haven't seen documentation around it and I'm too lazy to look it up. I can say that tabs that haven't been used in a while reload entirely when you switch to them.

But I do like Firefox's privacy. Limiting cookies to only cookies from that website is a nice touch.

Well... I know it's chromium, but I have to admit Vivaldi is easily my favorite browser. It's got a bunch of fairly unique features that I just can't live without. It's got tabs within tabs, tab tiling, a whole side car for websites that you can display while working on whatever Web page you need (works great for social media, music, messaging). I don't have a link, but maybe worth checking it out.

Yeah, I'd just like to ask why it has to be NTFS as well. I want to help you to the best of my ability.

Now in terms of what you are trying to accomplish, it would sincerely help to know what kind of server you are trying to create and what you want it to accomplish so I can help you with the design. It would also help to know what hypervisor you are using to read those VM disks. Now, for the sake of the rest of this post, I'm going to assume that you are simply creating a Linux server meant to share those disks with a hyper-v hypervisor (to ensure we discuss the worst case... Lol... but also because I think the only reason you need NTFS is to support a Windows hypervisor).

Now if that assumption is correct, I would still ask why the filesystem must be NTFS. If all you need is a share for the files then why does the filesystem even matter? In my opinion, the worst case scenario that you have is a samba share which shares these files over as a Windows share. Now Windows is capable of better sharing utilizing either iscsi or NFS. None of these three sharing solutions (samba, iscsi, NFS) require an NTFS filesystem. Though I will admit that there may be some other thing that causes an issue with the potential of these solutions.

Anyways, not to pry, I want to help you though but a little more detail would significantly help with helping you find a solution.
