Bastion, Beyond Good & Evil, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, Mirror's Edge.

and Hades, although I refuse to call it a "patient gamer" game

The process from here involves setting up a business entity in Germany, so we can import the t-shirts, store them in a warehouse, connect inventory logistics and ship them all over the world. This includes building a website and connecting it to a back-end database. So, we basically ended up owning a merch production operation end-to-end, just so that we could ensure premium quality of these t-shirts!

like... why

You specifically stated that "They deleted the fact that they are a metasearch engine".

I specifically didn't.

The page you linked clearly explains that they use other search engine sources

it doesn't specify which ones, though.

Our search results also include anonymized API calls to:

  • all major search result providers worldwide, [such as?]
  • specialized search engines like Marginalia,
  • and sources of vertical information such as Wolfram Alpha, Apple, Wikipedia, Open Meteo, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other APIs

they are fairly upfront about honestly.

as long as you don't really want to know which search engines they use https://kagifeedback.org/d/5185-more-detailed-information-about-search-sources

SearXNG generates a URL that contains all the preferences you've set, so it's a matter of copying it and setting it as a default search engine on another device.

even being that expensive, they're not breaking even

huh, I guess starting their own T-shirt business wasn't that great of a move after all

🇬🇧🚨#ChatControl is back on the agenda: As soon as next Wednesday representatives of EU governments will resume work based on a secret document. https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/documents-publications/public-register/public-register-search/?DocumentNumber=12319%2F24

This is what you can do now to help: https://www.patrick-breyer.de/en/take-action-to-stop-chat-control-now/

Experts aren’t unanimous about whether the AI-powered search startup’s practices could expose it to legal claims ranging from infringement to defamation—but some say plaintiffs would have strong cases.

Today EU governments will not adopt their position on the EU regulation on “combating child sexual abuse”, the so-called chat control regulation, as planned, which would have heralded the end of private messages and secure encryption. The Belgian Council presidency postponed the vote at short notice. Once again the chat control proposal fails in Council.

A moment I've no doubt many Linux fans have been waiting to see. The Linux user share on Steam has smashed through the 2% barrier.

Not actually for the first time though, it did initially rise up above 2% in March 2013, shortly after the original Steam for Linux release when it left Beta. Part of the reason it had higher numbers at the start, was that Valve added a special Tux item into Team Fortress 2 only on Linux but it quickly dropped in the following months.

"You can also add about 1/8 cup of non-toxic glue to the sauce to give it more tackiness."
