I prefer using the command line.. but it is nice to be able to use a TUI to select the staging files, so this works out perfectly.

Honestly, I've already gone through this when I realized that a lot of the software I wrote in the 90s is gone forever. Luckily, textfiles archived some of it (both binaries and source), but I really wish I open sourced more of my personal projects back in the day.
That said, I think video games have a longer shelf life than any other software... people will always want to play old games. As long as that's the case, at least my name will continue on in the ScummVM source.
Agreed. While I've never used ChatGPT on an actual project, I've tested it on theoretical problems and I've never seen it give an answer that didn't have a problem.
So I would treat it like any answer on Stack Overflow, use it as a start, but you should definitely customize it and fix any edge cases.
I'm not great with gdb but I think using the x cmd shows them.
