I dont know much about the primary developers of Lemmy, but from what I can tell this is a part time labor of love project for them. Its unreasonable to ask people to push beyond their boundaries or capacity so that their pet project can become a 1:1 replacement for an incredibly mature platform like Reddit overnight

Fascist is also what humanity uses to refer to actual fascism, which is having a pretty unfortunate resurgence at the moment. Its not just referring to tyranny.
I'm probably the most vocal person for car-free lifestyles and micro mobility in my community, and I absolutely hate the the effect that these stupid things have in the car-free discussion.
At least as their existing solutions were rolled out, they made public spaces uglier and more dangerous for all involved.
