Plus PewDiePie has openly supported the Pirate Party, witch is far from Authoritarian, in fact, anti-corruption, anti-authoritarianism, and advocates for direct democracy, internet freedom, privacy, etc..

Edit: @Canadian_[email protected] I have to agree, what he said, on that bridge, he should not have said, but labeling him a Nazi is not right!

Edit 2: It takes 1 brain-cell to check if Felix is a Nazi!

I don't watch him, so can't tell, this just popped up in my mastodon feed, from someone else! <3

I have been using Linux since early March 2020. I chose Debian/Ubuntu-based distributions for two main reasons: stability and my strong familiarity with the APT package manager. The APT man page is deeply ingrained in my memory.

Today I run Debian Stable/Testing and also Unstable, on all my computers 4/4 on Debian!

I'm happy you found a distro and a place that feels lime home! ❤ This story made me feel included!

I always use Debian unstable, but my desktop has an Nvidia GPU and I want some stability for #Warframe and #Minecraft, the only two games I play.

So I just installed the latest update by changing my /etc/apt/sources.list.d from Bookworm to Trixie.

Anarchism and SyndicalismAnarcho-syndicalism bring me joy, alongside Debian and Linux.

Im happy in life because I don't have to use Windows and proprietary software that limits my freedom to modify my system to my liking.

Leaving a PC to download software overnight sounds so early 2000s, I love it. 😎❤

I'm new to #Lemmy and making myself feel at home by posting a bit!

My first Linux distribution was elementary OS in early March 2020. Since then, I’ve tried Manjaro, Arch Linux, Fedora, went back to Manjaro, and since early January 2023, I’ve landed on Debian as my home in the #Linux world.

What was your first Linux distro?

I have used Debian for the past 3 years, who else uses Debian?

Also, what makes you use Debian?
