Problem is that barely anyone use crypto as currency. Almost everybody treat it as a stupid get rich quick scheme.

It's generally considered a fact that Linux, along with many other open-source software projects, are more efficient than their propriety closed-source counterparts

This is not necessarily true. Linux had trouble with Nvidia Optimus, which is a GPU technology that seamlessly switches between power modes. Well, that is if it works properly, which it didn’t for Linux. I haven’t heard it in a while, so I assume it’s not a problem now anymore.

But it was a big problem where Linux laptops drained batteries much faster because they were using the GPUs at max capacity at all times.

What I’m saying is that the efficiency of Linux depends on access to hardware features, and that might depend on the vendors of the drivers.

Also, like it or not, if there’s one thing I envy about Mac is its power efficiency. They usually last really long on one charge.

It’s especially impressive when the indie game developer themselves make the bangers.

I look forward to that new meme template.

They were one of the loudest proponents of "games as a service" back in the day.

Among the old PS3 conferences there’s this one where Portal 2 is announced for PS3. While everybody else tried to make 3D TV gaming and motion controls the next big thing, Gabe just enters the stage and describes how they believe games as a service is the future.

They were so far ahead. Everybody struggled to figure out what the next big thing is going to be. Valve had already figured it out.

Yes, that’s part of the proposal. Another part is that you should be able to play the game even if you don’t have access to the servers.

Unlikely. They don’t want to lose the entire European market.

I’ve used both Gimp and Photoshop. I’m not super skilled in any of these, but Photoshop feels the most natural to use. I’ve never figured out a good workflow for Gimp.

It’s a shame, because functionality wise Gimp is quite competent. It’s just the UI that’s crap.

They post anyway.

Usually the most straightforward solution is good enough. And when you want to improve the performance, it’s rarely about time complexity.

No, that’s just bloat feelings
