I wonder when these poor resources will be liberated. The regions in China which have these resources must be freedomized.

...the Nargis-1 exploration well [...] holds about 2.5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas...

Wonderful.

Storms are becoming more likely to stall in one place, dumping more rain on concentrated areas, as Hurricane Harvey did in Houston in 2017.

Get yourself a boat, hurricane season 2023 is going to be wild.

China has 21 nuclear reactors under construction which will have a capacity for generating more than 21 gigawatts of electricity, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency. That is two and a half times more nuclear reactors under construction than any other country.

I love that China is not planning to power all future demand with more coal and gas.

... a steady construction pipeline helps [...]. Equipment and component makers can standardize production when they know there will be demand for their specialized goods year after year, and more experienced construction crews can avoid costly delays. [...] And, of course, China’s one-party system has proven more adept than America’s messy democracy in recent decades at permitting and constructing all kinds of infrastructure projects.

I hope these ambitions transition global manufacturing away from coal.

"I am writing to express the United States' full support for both the transfer of F-16 fighter aircraft to Ukraine and for the training of Ukrainian pilots by qualified F-16 instructors [...] It remains critical that Ukraine is able to defend itself against ongoing Russian aggression and violation of its sovereignty" said Blinken.

Will this solidify a Ukrainian victory?

U.S. officials have privately said that F-16 jets would have been of little help to Ukraine in its current counteroffensive and will not be a game changer when they eventually arrive given Russian air defense systems and contested skies over Ukraine

Or will Russian radar and missle systems tear them up?

The grams of waste per teaspoon of ketchup seems high.

What else has a super high packaging waste per consumable volume?

Both introduce the world to youngsters, but with different modes.

Uranium fever has done and got me down Uranium fever, it's spreadin' all around

Impending nuclear renaissance?

During the discussion, the Governor also announced a directive to the Public Utilities Commission of Texas Interim Chair Kathleen Jackson to formulate a working group to study and provide recommendations that will position Texas as the national leader on advanced nuclear energy.

Texas looks to lead the carbon-free energy future? Would have never guessed

Get those construction contacts signed!

The EPA decided its scientists were overstating the risks and gave Chevron the go-ahead to make the new boat fuel ingredient at its refinery in Pascagoula, Mississippi.

Poor Mississippi.

They really should do it. The most expensive part of the facility, the facility itself, is already constructed. Even if they need new reactor vessels, it'll be more affordable than building a whole new plant.
