All time with tech as a child should be limited and parents need to watch what they are doing. Just like the tv generation it is easy to let it babysit but it comes with a cost.

No Arch? I game on linux as much as possible and went with same that Valve did for SteamOS. Work I use Windows 10 Pro and laptop FreeBSD.
Sure if added to Pro version will have a Group Policy to disable them. Really happy I went Pro for Windows 10.

Set https everywhere. Use secure DNS servers. Install TOR along with all that. Tell me how your VPN provider can "see everything you do" with many layers of encryption, decentralization, and propagation of your data?
True it is the better option, but putting it on a guest network and adding parental control lowjacks it pretty well. Set it schedule to when you need it.
