I'm not saying they suddenly switched sides, most of him defend him like usual, but there is both people on tv who say they're disappointed in them as people I know personal. They are losing credibility since they are in the government.

Here in the Netherlands the far right party became the biggest after the second largest party tried to win votes by saying they think their voters are right (it didn't, some of their voters moved to the far right party after they validated their points in the open). They are now part of a coalition and for the first time I hear public criticism of their own voters, because exactly as you point out their incompetence is showing. They made promises they can't keep for example. It's better they are not the outsider / underdog that can harness the people's dislike of the government.

I agree, especially in the sense that the other is also part of our society. I think it also helps to remind people in the end we are all sharing the political system that is our democracy.

recognizing Palestine I think you mean, but thanks. I feel the pressure from countries that aren't us allies doesn't add up to meaningful difference. Not so far I guess. So I'm just hoping more and more us allies put pressure on the us and israel, which will only happen if countries currently supporting Palastine wil pressure these us allies to move away from backing Israel.

No I agree what we call it doesn't change what is happening, but your reply helped me understand your motive for wanting to distinguish what happens in Gaza and what happend in Europe 80 years ago, so thank you for answering.

Aside from Germany, does anybody know if more countries are siding with South-Africa than before? I feel like every government is just digging into their position and whatever cruel thing happens doesn't really change anything anymore, at least not at the government level.

Do you believe that what Israel is doing in Palastine could be considered a genocide by the ICC aside from your point on the holocaust? Just trying to figure out where you stand in this.

Do I care what republicans think or do? In this case yes, because they have much more influence in the choices of the US government than the democrats and the choices of the US government have a big on the fate of Ukraine unfortunately. So thank god there's at least one republican standing up against the orange ruler.
