Tbh sounds fair. I mean keeping systems secure is not cheap task . If we can kep using w10 without all the “free AI “ shit , is not bad . I mean they will get their income from w11 from it on users… From users data. They should add windows clean with the office subscription and a not clean option . I would not say free. We are used to think that free is better, but there are a lot of time invested in development and updates. Linux free distros are not so secure, they even do a statement you have to agree to use them. that’s why companies pay Read hat .

Just use Firefox and its variants for more privacy. Done. Chromium is a dead road. Even with ungoogled chromium , brave , etc you have to trust the maintainers and their compiled version.

Linux Fundarion is based in America. It needs to follow its rules and politics. I guess a lot of things will happen after this. As something so important for open technology like It , should be based in a more open, mor asvanced in laws and neutral territory.

Question regarding android phones (lemm.ee)

When the iPhone 15 came out, I felt the pressure to upgrade, so I bought the standard model with 128 GB. I'm now experiencing the limitations of their ecosystem, which closed as dolls ass. I'm looking to sell my iPhone 15 and buy two Android phones for myself and my wife. If I could get some extra cash out of it, that would be a nice bonus. I'm not concerned with the fancy cameras or features. I just want something I can manipulate to be private and also install whatever I want, use the common apps everyone uses with no issues, stream movies and TV shows. My main concern is that most phonew from well-known brands, their Android OS are almost as disappointing as Apple products. I think it would be better to get a phone with hardware that is well-suited to a custom Android OS that is well-maintained and known for being reliable, and with a focus on privacy and not bloated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I bought a domain from them about 3 months ago (luckily for one year). I decided to choose them because there were good references regarding privacy. So I started to point my self-hosted services (with proper certications and stuff) which were solely used by myself and my family, to the domain and subdomains. So far, so good.

Suddenly, my domains stopped working. I went to the admin dashboard and tried to click on "Manage," but the button wasn't working. I checked the button code, and it was labeled as "disabled." So I contacted support, and I won’t provide much more explanation; I will just paste their response.

We don't refund services, and your domain has been suspended for violating our terms of service, for among other things, being flagged as malicious by various browsers.

What terms did I violate and how? Do you have evidence? You are not even providing a notification, nor a reason, nor any evidence. And you just go ahead and suspend my domain??? What kind of service are you providing? Are you self-hosting the servers? For the record, I was just self-hosting my own services and was doing nothing wrong. I don't even understand why this is happening. And if you can't give me a clear reason, I will go ahead and spread everywhere what you did, including the fact that you are not even refunding me.

Edit: adding their “profesional” response. I assumed they just stole my money and my domain. I’m not able to even enter to manage my domain. They just disabled the button … wtf
