Tomorrow morning is part 2 (of 2) of my diagnosis. I am 42 now. I am pretty sure myself that I am autistic, I have not found a better explanation for my life being the "shape" that it is.

I would be gutted if a professional decided that I do not belong here though. Fingers crossed that I have guessed right, and that the doc see me as I am, not just my mask.

Edit: just to follow up on this. I have just been diagnosed with Autism. I am extremely relieved. He was very casual about it, and very supportive. We also talked a lot about PDA, he said that describes a lot of my work and life challenges. I'm seeing him again in about 10 days where hopefully he can give me a bit of advice about what to do with this info. Thanks to all of you that commented.

Nonprofits are allowed to make a profit. They just have to roll it back into the operation. (Can't hand it out to shareholders, board members, etc.)

Thanks that's good to know. I've got a Dyson V8 and I also have a fair sized collection of Bosch blue 18V stuff. But my point was really that DeWalt 20V and Bosch 18V (for example) is the same number of cells and same pack voltage at different points in the charge cycle. It's just that one is marketed differently.

I believe 18V and 20V lithium batteries are two ways of talking about the same thing (5 lithium cells in series, making up the battery). One refers to the nominal voltage of the pack, and the other refers to the maximum voltage of the pack. I think certain manufacturers (DeWalt, and possibly others) started using the max voltage as a marketing tactic.

My go-to is folks, but 1000 others have mentioned that already. So I will throw in "people".

"Hey people, how's it going?"

That works for me

I am here very much as a lurker for now. I am working my way through "the book" (and am also about halfway through rustlings). But I would love to see this community thrive and succeed. I will try harder to engage on posts that are relevant to me, and make new posts if/when I can.

Sounds great. I am interested and would love to follow development. I'll check out the gitlab page. Thanks ๐Ÿ‘

Sorry to hear about that. But also thank you for introducing me to this game! I found a free website https://www.futoshiki.com/ and I'm playing it right now!

Thanks - I'll look those up. I am more than happy to pay for a small subscription or make a donation, this kind of service would definitely be worth it. I do have a server though, so it would also be ok to self-host. (But the more automatic it is, and less maintenance I have to do, the better.. ) :)

Hi. Does anyone have any recommendations for FOSS shopping list software for android, which has a "sync" feature so that it can be used by the whole family?

I currently rely on workflowy, and - while it works great - I'd really rather use something that was open source. Thanks in advance.
