Stop connecting your TVs directly to the internet, I don't care what OS it's running. The trend is clear with TV manufacturers, and if your current TV OS doesn't yet inject ads into your streaming box's HDMI stream, why risk it updating? Because that's coming soon enough, and I imagine what it does, an update requiring your TV to have internet connection won't be far behind.
It's not a hard problem to solve. Raccoons are incredibly smart, and if you stop feeding him, they'll eventually disperse. In the meantime, it's kind of a cute oafish story.
Feeding a wild raccoon isn't going to make it forget how to scavenge, or take care of itself. If you live in a remote area, probably not doing any long-term damage to their wild habits, aside from this one feeding ground they will have to move on from.
Apart from her not having a game plan for getting around a raccoon bum rush, the biggest concern I would have would be that raccoons are a reservoir species for rabies in the PNW.
Not sure when exactly this raccoon party fully kicked off, but their breeding season is spring and summer, which I believe coincides with a spike in rabies transmission...so....that's not ideal.

You're on Android use NewPipe and it's forks, personally I prefer Tubular and PipePipe.
Periodically YouTube will break, but both of those forks, as well as new pipe prime, update fairly quickly.
GrayJay is interesting... It has different feel and feature set than newpipe, but it's worth using. I will say I get more login errors with GrayJay, but closing the app and reopening it resolves them immediately.
All the piped apps will be in f-droid/droidify, you can download GrayJay directly, or just scan the QR to add the repo to a FOSS repo manager.
I believe Tails already supports I2P, you just have to enable it in the terminal and reboot.
I don't know who this developer is, maybe they are well-known and well regarded.
I just know that for an OS, better to be safe than sorry and go with and established and well respected project such as Tails IMO.
Not trying discourage users from trying it, just that they should be mindful of the risks and adjust their behavior accordingly.

Basically admitting that he was actively compromised, but that he wanted to return to a normal life....
He doesn't seem like a stupid kid, he just sounds like a kid who got in way over his head, and under all that pressure, made consistently and progressively dumber choices until he eventually got caught.
I don't know anything else about the story other than what I heard on the news during his escape back when, and what I just read, so it's possible I'm missing some important information in that summary, I don't know.
