To be clear: I also hate crypto EXCEPT MONERO.

When I got a new PC it had (and still has) quite powerfull cpu, so I googled if I could make some money from my PC. The answer was crypto mining. Only nice looking crypto miner for Linux was Cudo miner and it only supported Monero for cpu mining. I was mining for a year and got 50€, because of free electricity (parents). In that time I discovered that Monero is private and anonymous crypto and then I got interested in privacy. I was also a localmonero trader but paypal close both of my accounts without a reason :(.

Tech -> Raspberry Pi -> Linux -> New PC -> Mining Crypto -> Monero -> Privacy

What will happen if you reply just "ok"?

  1. Yes, its replacement for work profiles but better. Its managed by the system (android) and not by an app. That makes it more isolated. Its just like different users on Windows and Linux.
  2. LocalMonero

Thank you! Thats what I was searching for :)

Edit: akmods requires a ton of dependencies which has to be layered and that defeats the purpose of silverblue... But still thanks

logging in to aurora is almost guaranteeing your account getting banned

Im using my main account on aurora store on 4 profiles for past month and everything is ok (for now).

  1. Factory reset
  2. Setup but SKIP GOOGLE & SAMSUNG LOGIN
  3. Install F-Droid/Droid-ify
  4. Install Aurora Store
  5. Uninstall or disable as much default apps as you can
  6. Install Simple Mobile Tools or other opensource alternative from F-Droid
  7. Install everything else you need

Use openaource apps from fdroid, or if you really have to then use Aurora store. For office use collabora office, for youtube newpipe, video vlc, etc. NEVER LOG IN TO GOOGLE/SAMSUNG ACCOUNT ON ANY APP except Aurora store. For any other recommendation/alternative just aak me.

Thank you for your detailed answer! Im already using a minimalist distro (arch) with (almost) no problems. Before that I used Fedora. Becase of that and your recommendation I will probably switch to silverblue. Im a little scared of selinux (I was thinkering too much with fedora) but better with it than without. For AUR apps I will use distrobox. I would also like to try toolbx for my projects!
