The left of center position is "If you're against abortions, don't get an abortion." The right's position is "Abortion is always wrong and nobody should be allowed to do it." It does not follow that they'll be content to stop at the local level, or the state level, or even the national level. The only reason anybody thinks that it might is marketing (lying).

Since the Roe v Wade verdict was leaked, I feel like the media has been glossing over the revelation that there's just as much wheeling and dealing in the Supreme Court as in any of the other branches.
