I never had issues with Nvidia on Mint, but I recently upgraded to a 7800xt and had issues in some games. Switched to Ubuntu 23.10 with Wayland and back to no issues. I recommend Mint for all new Linux users, unless you have current gen hardware. Then you might want a newer kernel. Linux Mint is very stable and you can expect the same amount of bugs as Windows 10. Less bugs than Win11 I think.

Same for me on Ubuntu 23.10. When I open a discord link I get a notification saying "Firefox is ready" instead of switching focus to firefox, and clicking that notification does not open Firefox.
I think this is a great idea! I guess strength might be the biggest issue? The metal would have to be layered really thin to fit all sizes, while being able to withstand strong rotational force. Although all the smaller sizes would fill the gap I'm not sure it would work. Making and testing this idea would be a good YouTube video, maybe send this as a suggestion to some engineering YouTubers?
I use a thinkpad x1 yoga 4th gen with Ubuntu 23.10. Works great. Palm rejection has given me a couple problems, but only sometimes... I have not had time to troubleshoot yet though. I tried xournal++ first but was very unhappy, then tried the snap version of onenote which was much worse and landed on Rnote. Rnote is great!
I just got a thinkpad x1 yoga gen 4 with a touchscreen. Installed Ubuntu 23.10 and Im loving it, works well with touch. Although I only use touch with the lenovo pen in xournal++ for taking notes in some subjects. And monument valley.
Same... and the financially stable, well-off, part of the population gets the biggest benefit of these changes. Vote accordingly. AP seems like H in a red shirt, Im going further left and hoping for some actual change.
What?! Damn... That's what I get for just apt updating in the terminal and assuming it's fixed to 5.15. I've read that Mint is still behind on Wayland support though, so my switch to Ubuntu still feels justified.
