Somehow the reddit athiest gang is even worse here lol

This isn't super relevant, but I just installed Windows on one of my drives so I could play Tarkov (lol), and oh my god the AMD Adrenalin software. I'm sure there's some okay features with it, but for some reason it was not saving my fan tuning. So like, during intensive graphics, my PC was just overheating like crazy, and would just randomly shut off multiple times and not turn on for a few minutes. Every time I rebooted, I would have to launch Adrenalin and load my fan tuning configuration. It's absolutely atrocious that this happens on a default Windows install.... like if it happened on Linux I'd accept that I maybe configured something wrong. But installing Windows and AMD drivers should not put my computer at risk of burning my GPU. It's ridiculous.

Anyway if anyone else has this issue, you can fix it by turning off fast boot in Windows power settings. Stupid af

People like to act all holier than thou with this kinda stuff. Whether or not we read and upvote articles about this evil clown isn't going to change whatever the outcome is. I'd like to see Musk in prison as much as the next guy, but watching him burn twitter down is entertaining as well

It was the same on Reddit. Antiwork culture or something (I'm not in the loop), which is reasonable to an extent, but people still struggle to acknowledge that it is possible to have careers and jobs that are extremely fulfilling to them, even if it's under a company. I work in healthcare IT and I enjoy it a lot. And I'll even say I enjoy the corpo culture-improving events that IT management holds. I like the people around me. I'd rather work feel like home than feel like slaving away in an emerald mine 8 hours a day.

Edit: I wanna say that at my last job, it was very much trying to get us to feel connected to the company and the profits. That really doesn't get through to me, I couldn't care less about the company lol. If anything at a job, I'll be connected to coworkers and people around me that I spend 8 hours a day with. The best company culture imo isn't to get the employees to simp over the company, but to make it enjoyable for employees to be around each other.

Arch user here. I have no idea what I'm doing. Killing Floor just crashed my graphics card or something to crash and my monitors aren't working after reboots. Oh god
