Well, the Premier of Ontario just put a 25 % surcharge on the electricity that powers millions of homes in three states. I guess they won’t have to worry about the price of eggs if they can’t afford to cook them.

It will affect the customers, who are rural. The states are blue, because of their cities, but the cities aren’t reliant on Canadian electricity. The rural areas are, and they vote red.
The areas that get power from Canada are rural. And pretty red.
