Oh yes, I was using a 3.5" floppy disk drive with a USB connector in 2007 to kick off imaging on desktop machines as no one could get the ghost boot server working.

This used to be IT in the early 2000s

Beige as far as the eye could see (in a data centre)

Well, let's see...my work laptop experience (so far).

  • Lenovo: Worked there for 14 years
  • HP: Worked there for 6 months
  • Apple: Worked there for 6 months
  • HP: Worked there for 2.5 years
  • Apple: Worked there for a year
  • Dell: Worked there for 2.5 years--

So, I'm being naive here, but why don't people sue when they know this is the case? Like, it's a bit of a stereotype that American's are fairly litigious, but if you know that you're being swindled, can't you take them to court?

What’s crazy to me is I don’t even know who’s in charge of England or any other country for that matter.

England is part of the UK and with no devolved government, so the Prime Minister of the UK is in charge. Currently Sir Kier Starmer.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Count again. 3 ways to get it. Including the way you've linked. My first one was correct.

I don't get it. If this is in reference to US Politics (it almost always is), the right is red.

If it's in reference to 20th century communists, fair play.

If it's in reference to British soldiers of the 18th and 19th centuries, again fair play.

Ambiguity is the nemesis of fun.

Worse how? Jellyfin was forked from Emby, and since then has continued to improve in my eyes.

I think they moved from GPL3 to Apache 2 in 2017 and then only added that one line about restricting confluence in August.

Didn't something similar just happen with RustDesk? ChatGPT response from author in an hours old account.

Firefox new tab has a box in the middle of the page for you to click in and enter text to search in your default search engine - and it immediately starts typing in the URL bar. IF I WANTED TO USE THE URL BAR I WOULD CLICK THERE.

Throws me off every time.
