Yes, the same with a single public health insurance. Directly after he became Minister, the Lobby Group of the Private Health Insurances invited him, and he immediately flipped and sang praises on them.
For some reason he is still immensely popular. I never got it. He fucked up the German Healthcare System in the first place, and was in the board of one of the shittiest for profit operators for years. (Which also famously tried to circumvent the minimum wage in Germany)

Haben wir schon in Baden-Württemberg, alle 1,5-2 Meter eine Überwachungskamera in der Regionalbahn (die jeweils in beide Richtungen filmt), dazu Propagandaplakate vom Innenministerium an jeder Einstiegstür warum das gut für mich ist und mich sicher macht. Und zusätzlich am Bahnsteig, sowie Unterführungen alle 5 Meter eine 360° Kamera, sowie Bodycams an den verbleibenden Zugbegleitern
Kombiniere das mit den üblichen Gesichtserkennung zur Fahndung-Fantasien der Bundespolizei, und dem Digitalticketzwang und wir sind von China nicht mehr weit weg. Anonymes Reisen mit der Bahn, kann man sich abseits des Fernverkehrs in die Haare schmieren. Und selbst dort wird es schwieriger.
(Sparpreise sind ja auch nur noch mit Angabe von persönlichen Daten am Automaten erhältlich)
(Ein Zugbegleiter in jedem Zug würde natürlich tatsächlich für mehr Sicherheit sorgen, anstatt einen Vorfall einfach nur zu filmen, aber das kostet ja Geld)
