I have abandonned all interest in social media, and centralized platforms that rely on targetted advertisements and that just keep selling your identity to corporates, through lemmy I have learned that MORE control (over your life) an some times bring MORE peace of mind. Right now i have quit fb and instagram, and for it im a happier and more cerene person
