I had the react court supercut on in the background to make my work day less monotonous but I had to fucking stop immediately when he started reading this, I couldn’t breathe. Most normal Redditor dropped and you’re just telling me this, I’m hearing this for the first time trump-who-must-go

tentative but enthusiastic recommendation as I haven't finished it but have loved what I've played thus far. Insofar as I have experienced the story (just got to expired grove) it is fundamentally anticrabitalist.

gameplay loop is fun, the combat and movement feels really polished, the dialogue and bits have been consistently good (gotten a few good chuckles outta me), has good accessibility options for if soulslikes aren't your wheelhouse ~~and it's the only real souls-adjacent game with an arthropod protagonist (silksong literally never)~~

Not sure why rothschild conspiracies are marked as antisemitism when they specifically refer to one family and have nothing to do with that family's judaism

if i had to guess, probably. it's somewhat of a plausibly-deniable dogwhistle for 'asian = yellow'. not saying you meant that, just that I don't blame the mods for their hypervigilance here

it's a bit imperfect, but here's my mirror of the batch as the maintainer. github truncates the list but it's all in there if cloned. i'd rather not restructure the folders since it's easier on my end to have it like that when creating/adding emotes, so shrug-outta-hecks

I hope you get stuck in traffic for a comically long amount of time on your morning commute. I hope both sides of your pillow are lukewarm. I hope you shit your pants in a social gathering and have to awkwardly crabwalk out of the center of the crowd while everyone levels you 'the look'. I hope you burn your tongue and everything tastes weird for the rest of the day. I hope you stammer for a good six seconds trying to bail out on the improper 'you too' you offered the waitress serving you food, while she just hovers there, expecting something she has to add on to the order, but ultimately not receiving it as your attempt to recover fizzles out with a whimper. I hope you sleep weird on your shoulder and it aches for the rest of the week. I hope you bite your cheek. I wish you a constant stream of unfortunate and inconvenient happenings wholesome

I'm a bit tired rn and I just went on a walk with me and my thoughts alone. I started thinking about how much it took for us to be here and how we naturally will work for the betterment of the quality of lives we never experience for no reason other than it feels good to do that, and I know it's the cliché-est cliché but I really think it's so easy to lose sight of the fundamental beauty of humanity when we're trapped in the misery machine of capitalism. I truly believe our existence on this earth is a beautiful thing, even within the circumstances we find ourselves in, and I'm so grateful for being allowed the cosmically unlikely opportunity to experience it. I love you all, I hope you're having a great day :meow-hug:
