Oh, I don't have to imagine. Thanks!

And I stand by what I said. :)

Op, so are you saying we can use this graphic to alter and make something to post in thread so you can see? That'd be fun

I come from a socialist-skewed background, so I'm dipping my toes in these waters as I'm leaning into Anarchism. And this community is awesome for me so far. :)

Great read on this. Thanks for posting!

You can remove .midwest.social. They banned me because they said I'm a conservative and they don't allow conservatives. I'm actually a vegan libertarian anarchist socialist, but meh...

And did ya notice that I use the same username on every one. So it'd be pretty hard to ban evade since I'm using the same freakin' name. See my point?

A ban evader is someone who creates alternate accounts to sneak back into communities or instances they've been banned from, just to continue posting.

I don’t do that.

I’ve kept the same username across different instances, and I avoid posting in communities where I’ve been banned. I do this for transparency—so everyone knows I’m not posting in places that I’m banned from.

And yes, I’m aware of that thread. In fact, I use a screenshot of it as my profile banner. Notice that the new instance admins didn’t ban me because they saw that I wasn’t ban evading.

For example: If you banned me from this community, I wouldn’t post here again, no matter what instance I’m using. I’m not a ban evader.

Moving to a different instance after being banned, and avoiding the banned instance, is NOT ban evading.

Lemmy values diversity of thought, and the whole point of the Fediverse is that there’s no central authority that can just get rid of everyone they don't like.

Different admins and different instances have different preferences and crowds. That's what's so awsome about the Fediverse and Lemmy!

Thanks!

You sent that five different times to the same person, copy-pasting it, after a long and similarly emotional argument with them.

And I don't think that was unhinged. If someone keeps the argument going, I keep the replies going.

But it also shouldn’t be my job to find every one of your dozen plus accounts that keep popping up

And it's not. Feel free not to worry about every account I make.

I didn’t say I thought you had an ulterior motive

Fair enough. I was curious and was probably reading too much into your anger.

I don’t know if pasting sections from the horror fiction counts, since it’s “supposed to be horror,” but that was a lot more unhinged.

Again, not unhinged. Those stories are direct parodies of the absurdity of Lemmy and how passionate people are.

Even the name of the series is "Tales from the Cryptic Lemmy." Get it? Tales from the Crypt. The 1960's outrageous comic and the cheesy 1980's tv show. And I still write them and just added a story and am finishing up editing one now.

In fact, they stories are still up: https://sh.itjust.works/c/talesfromthecrypticlemmy

And I have never written any stories about any specific person on Lemmy. Inspired by the outrageous things said to me, yes, but that's what creativity is. Just like singers write songs about shit people throw at them in real life, and turn it into an awesome tune. (Hi, Taylor Swift--I'm a Swiftie. :))

Also, let's not forget that you said you didn't even read them. So are ya saying that you have read them now?

Come on, fess up... it's ok, we're friends now. Ya finally reading my stuff? :)

By the way, my most recent story plays on the undercurrent of how some want Lemmy to just stay one way, an echo chamber. Kind of like, you know, a lack of color. It's a fun pulpy horror story that I'm sure you will find some way to twist into me being unhinged:

The Lady of Endless White - https://sh.itjust.works/post/30746811

"Dr. Caldwell answers a call for help at a strange, colorless mansion, but what he uncovers is anything but pure. In the Lady of Endless White, shadows linger even in the brightest of places!”

See the pulpy cheese of that? Picture the crypt keeper saying it. Kinda one of my best stories to be honest. :)

Dude, it's Lemmy, don't take it all so seriously.

And I'm actually writing another Crypic Lemmy story as we speak, so look for that tomorrow.

Thanks, friend!
