I feel like everyone who knew enough to know about Allo was also acutely aware that Google would probably kill it, and it would really suck to move friends to an app that’s just gonna join the graveyard with the dozen others

The Grudge. I saw it when I was maybe 7 or 8? I was at an Aunts house with some older brothers that had it on. Honestly I barely remember actually watching it, but good lord it scarred me until I was at least 18 or so. I could never get the image of hair growing out of random places, turning into something terrifying out of my head whenever I was showering and stuff. I still haven’t rewatched it :D I’m quite a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies already and I could totally see it giving me nightmares again if it’s anything like I remember as a kid

I love Linux but this just isn’t true. There are still quite a few games like PUBG that can’t work thanks to anticheat, which are often the kinds of games I’m less likely to stop playing to switch because I’ve got friends I’d like to play it with

It's a systemd timer included within Arch that runs fstrim every week.

As a regular user who doesn’t do any dev work but likes to keep tabs on various projects, Gitlab all the way. It has an interface to track issues specific to a given version, giving you an easy way to gauge progress on upcoming releases and see what the holdups are. I’ve not found any kind of analog for that on GitHub unfortunately, but maybe I just haven’t looked in the right place

Safety isn’t just about the driver though, you also have to think about what happens when they hit pedestrians or other cars. I gotta say, there’s a lot of vehicles I’d much rather be hit by than this if I had a choice

Safari on iOS supports extensions as of the last couple years, and AdGuard is available for it. Works great!
