TBF, this is the first time I've encountered an app not working - and it was before this. It's just because of Google push towards monopoly via their Play Integrity API that's ruining this.

ah thanks for sharing this :)

Nothing wrong with it, I think that rescuezilla is trying just simplify the process for lesser tech-savvy people. If clonezilla works for you then continue using that.

What do you mean by the project being dead? I just checked, and it had a release in September as well as commits just 6hrs ago, at the time of posting this.

Thanks for pointing that out, as it would have to be automated for me to be "happy" with it. I'll have a deep-dive into tdarr asap.

Yeah I'll avoid editing these I think, doesn't seem worth the hassle.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still on the learning path of Linux. But there doesn't seem to many forks of OpenSuse? There are a bunch of forks of Arch, Fedora and Debian, but why not OpenSuse? Is it a license problem or something else?

Hi there.

I love this app to bits, but recently have stumbled upon a weird issue I cannot seem to resolve. Normally I use the Swift keyboard app from Microsoft but for whatever reason, only when writing a comment to someone, it doesn't work as expected. For instance I cannot use backspace to correct my writing and autocorrect gets disabled.

Ive tried to switch to googles keyboard app and the same thing happens there. This strictly only happens in comments as far as I've noticed, and not when writing this. Also only an issue here in Voyager app, nowhere else.

Has anyone stumbled upon this issue? Is it known?

Update; Created a bug-report on the matter for those interested. https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/issues/1602

Hi there, I've just done the switch from NextDNS to PiHole. Simply because I want to test it out + self-host my DNS. I set up PiHole+Unbound two days ago, and yesterday the amount of "Queries blocked" was much higher that it is now. But this morning the number was down back to 100ish. Is this normal behaviour, is it supposed to reset the counter? I'd rather it didn't. Let me know if this is my fault or a setting I've managed to miss.

Thank you.

Genuinely curious as to how these types of giveaways work and what the company gains from them. Is it the additional data you give them to enter the giveaway? Also does anyone own one of these cameras, are they actually worth redeeming in this case?

Hi there!

Wondering what types of setup people have that allow them to, while the internet is down, still watch/stream media from their servers. I have a stacked Jellyfin library that, and would like to see this feature/setup in my own house. My Unraid server is on the other side of the house from where the living room is. Is there actually a sane way to achieve this?

During the first impressions of said distro, what feature surprised you the most?

This seems like a solid choice for those of use looking for a obsidian-like replacement. Personally tried all editors out there, but nothing is able to defeat my love for obsidian. However, i look forwards to trying out Haptic when it comes to Linux. Currently it only supports Web and Mac. But state Linux and Windows support is on-the-way.

Kudos to selfh.st that provides consistent updates within this community and who shared this among other cool projects this week -> https://selfh.st/newsletter/2024-09-06/?ref=this-week-in-self-hosted-newsletter
