I don't know anything about this hack because I just heard of it, but I look forward to finding out how it's actually much worse than meets the eye. I know this is how it will end because this is how every deep dive into snap issues ends.

That's because they're the only soaps that really get your hands clean. You're used to bad soap.
By your own argument, CS2 is worse than Overwatch. CS2 removed over half of the maps, features, and the gameplay is way worse. Overwatch gameplay was pretty similar, although switching to 5v5 has its problems. It ran the same on the same hardware. The biggest change was the economy which doesn't affect gameplay. I feel like I completely lost access to CS, but I played OW2 for months until the gameplay problems with the meta became more apparent.

That's me. I stayed home, avoided events, and waited to go to restaurants until cases were down. When I did go places, I went when it wasn't busy and sat outside. Avoiding COVID wasn't rocket science, all you had to do was follow the basic principles of disease prevention.
To be fair, the pi's have always been famous for low quality sound cards, so there's plenty of hats that can add the functionality.
I just stopped buying liquid soap in favor of bar soap about a year ago. It lasts longer, cleans way better, uses no plastic and has almost 0 waste.
The problem probably was that Coke isn't in the soda creating business. People already drink a ridiculous amount of sodas. Coke is in the soda cheapening business, the only thing left for them to do is cut corners until making soda costs nothing. New sodas are just an opportunity for them to redefine cheap to a new low. This is why you should buy independent, small scale soda companies. Their entire business model is making something better than Coke.
Most advice I've seen says you shouldn't look for distros on torrent sites, and official torrents tend to disappear after each new release.

I left Ubuntu after they apt install firefox became a hidden alias to snap install firefox. Every time Canonical does something worse, I'm reassured I made a good choice.
