Hey, I'll have you know I only have one alt!

... Don't tell Keiko, but it's for porn.

I think it's just too close to what people here are used to seeing used as arguments against electrification, and knee-jerk reaction is downvote.

I could imagine 100 years ago someone saying "Yes we know your house is burning down, but we had to find a shop with gasoline to put in the motorcar" to imply horse-drawn carts would be better suited for firehouses.

Idk, I still got a chuckle.

It's practically a British rite of passage.

Can you really say you've had the proper UK experience if you haven't been stabbed? I myself was stabbed 17 times on my last outing to Brighton.

They're getting there, but so far it's only a few users that I've noticed.

One guy seems to be following me around to attempt mockery.

They're very much getting to "everyone who isn't farther left than me is a right-wing nazi" mentality.

Well I mean... I sure hope not. I personally don't see any reason to think it's anything other than China trying to gain support from nations that are on the fence or don't care about them, which to be clear is not a bad thing. They're free to pursue any relations they desire, and the other nations are free to do the same. Hopefully the politicians involved are truly working for the betterment of both countries.

That said, the person making the shady deal would clearly say "it's not a shady deal", and the person duped by aforementioned shady deal would obviously not want to admit being duped by said shady deal. So everyone involved has every reason to say this anyway.

In other words: a lot of words to ultimately say nothing. Much like this comment.

Hmm.

So beat them to it, and corner the EV market with affordable domestic models.

Seems like a pretty simple solution to me.

I wonder how soon all EVs will be heavily marked up in order to support ~~politicians need for more bribe money~~ "essential petroleum industry", regardless of country of origin

I would like to know the inside joke, but I also don't want to look at a bunch of pictures of spiders...

I'm not arachnophobic, but I'm also not a spider voyeur, and am perfectly okay with them staying in their corners of the house while I stay in mine.

So uhhhh.... Can someone explain the joke I'm too scared to try and understand? I assume it's in the same vein as "the MELTdown " on the reddit grilled cheese page

I'm already loving to misuse slang around all the nieces and nephews. They're all 3-14, so it changes depending on which kid is around, but the eye rolls are fantastic.

We need to tap into the power of the cringe and we might have an unlimited energy source.

Edit to add my updated version
