Luckily I have 6 years of Electronics manufacturing experience, so the math and theory are the things I'll need to learn most of. Unfortunately, those things are the hardest part...

"Frutiger Aero" is the blending of nature and technology (e.g. bright nature wallpaper on a computer monitor). "Aero" is the glossy UI design.

That aesthetic is called Frutiger Aero, and would certainly be a welcome return from the current sterile design we're currently using.

Nothing is going to top Your Name for a long time. As a creator, it's really hard when you create your best work ever, and then are expected to make the next one even better.

One thing that really got me that probably got lost on most International viewers is that the hook at the end ties in with the 2011 tsunami. I wonder if the Localization team will make some sort of pre-roll material to make that scene hit harder for future audiences.

Probably. I'm too autistic to recognize when those prompts happen, so I usually play all my board games in silence.

There are some minor choke points (restorecon if installing with a "dirty home" and installing RPMFusion), but yeah, otherwise it does a great job of staying out of your way.

Before you perform another task on that hard drive, try photorec. You might be able to get a majority of your files back if they're important

You need a full 8.1 surround lock system. These can be pricey, but I recommend this one from EcoBee. They typically run around $1300 each, but they come with elastiglass replacement if your window breaks under their protection, which I think is worth it.

I've debated getting rid of windows entirely to remove the risk, but I think I have enough protections in place for now.
