Maybe DeSantis should spend a billion dollars building a wall, to keep out the immigrants from NYC!? :-P

He already effectively did that to keep out Disney it seems. :-|

When [NYC] sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.

Trump's "just grab them by the pussy" quote was revealed to the public almost a decade ago, in October of 2016.

Trump's successful assassination attempt was in January of 2020, after his first impeachment but before his second one, and before the "excess deaths" from the pandemic killed more Americans than all wars combined.

Trump's conviction of rape was one year ago.

How long has it been since Trump even traveled to NYC, from Florida - didn't he even move his "home state" status there officially a couple years back?

Other places changed their names to remove the toxic Trump phrase multiple years ago in the past.

Click bait article seems to be dredging up click bait drama, about some rich folks who now (why NOW all of a sudden!?) worry about their property values being affected by the Trump name - as the article states, not bc of anything that he did, but bc he's currently under investigation and so due to the negative stigma attached to that, i.e. rich folks worry that they may be less rich soon. Sorry / not sorry if I don't care in the slightest.

This does not go nearly far enough imho. The woman on the right needs to be literally enslaved, in bondage (but not the fun kind) while the woman in the red dress needs to be appreciated not just in passing but during every waking moment of every hour of every day, with every thought, hope, wish, dream, prayer, and most importantly action dedicated to her eternal happiness, but more importantly her happiness right the fuck NOW in the next quarter.

Also it's not just the USA but the entire Western world... and quite frankly the entire non-Western one too just with Profit substituted with Power.

But the REALLY fucked up part is that literally nobody that I have ever met IRL has ever acted that way, though conversely who doesn't have that culture going on at their workplace? It's a HIGHLY skewed distribution where the "job creators" act that way, and not even like 99% of them but only the billionaire and wannabe class, and bullies, whereas everyone else seems to remember the human... except, for whatever odd reason, when it comes time to vote.:-(

So far... this time could legit be different.

We've Fucked Around with the planet (since the Industrial Revolution), and also invented nukes, so... I suppose we're about to enter the And Find Out stage of FAAFO.

Aren't we in the USA already at >200 electoral votes total that have pledged to put all of their votes towards whoever wins the popular vote? That said, I would expect a more serious resistance as it inches closer to where it might actually make a difference.

Also, I realize that isn't quite the same thing as fully moving away from a first past the vote system, but it is a type of reformation and it does help get away from the electoral college system in particular, so seems somewhat related.

I think Capable should be downgraded to a Maybe at this point...
