I am just outraged that some people are starving because they can't afford food while other people have so much money that they don't even know how they could spend it all.

Also ich werde mir in nächster Zeit auf jeden Fall kein neues Fahrrad kaufen, solange mir kein Rahmen bricht werde ich mir kein Fahrrad kaufen und dann würde es wahrscheinlich ein gebrauchtes sein.

Die >50% Wertverlust am Anfang können ruhig andere übernehmen.

In Deutschland haben auch schon so viele Leute ein Fahrrad, dass wohl eher der Umstieg auf E-Bikes die Verkäufe treibt, als es bessere Fahrradwege tun, auf jeden Fall kurzfristig.

Nothing you said inferred credibility unto Russian sources, I just wanted to add my take on the bigger picture.

Which is, that Ukrainian reporting is probably not 100% correct and there probably are inflations somewhere (like you said), it is still bound to reality, while Russian reporting lost its touch with reality on day one.

At least what Ukraine is claiming is somewhat based in reality compared to what russia claims.

According to russian sources, russia has destroyed some vehicle and plane types in higher numbers than ukraine ever had, yet Ukraine still has some.

Here in Germany we mostly use traffic cameras to enforce speeding laws. Unless you are driving way too fast you will most likely not get pulled over by police, instead some police officers set up mobile (and well hidden) traffic cameras in problematic areas which will fine anyone going too fast.

We do still have some traffic police, but we dont have as many as in the US. They will pull you over if they think you are under the influence or because your car has illegal modifications or is broken in an unsafe way.

I cannot believe that people in the US can just modify their vehicle or let its condition deteiorate so much that it is unsafe and its completely legal.

That is not the case here in Germany and it does probably help make it safer, even if some people, who would do a safe modification, cannot do it because its too hard to get it certified.
