I had a glass screen protector and a thin case but wasn't expecting this to happen. The screen isn't damaged on the outside which is weird but the display now has 2 horizontal lines and turned green. I can still see but this sucks ass. It's 300€ to replace which I think is too expensive specially considering I wasn't super happy with the phone in the first place. I love it's camera, s pen, and screen. Battery and performance kinda suck so yeah I don't know If I should actually spend more money on this. But I'm also not willing to go for another 1000€ phone ... I'm sad.

Phones in general are so fragile nowadays. My S7 Edge back in the day lasted me 4 years of abuse before finally breaking. This thing costed 1200€ it's just ridiculous.

Also, I have the base exynos variant if that matters.

Yes, that may be the case, actually

My xiaomi portable fast charger clearly charges my girlfriend's iPhone faster than my high end android device. Doesn't matter which port, which cable or which android phone. It starts by charging fast but as soon as I link her phone the fast charging speeds go straight to hers and mine just chargers very very slowly.

I've got the impression that this may be on purpose or at least has some clear explanation.

Any thoughts?

Two months ago, I upgraded from my loyal 3 year old friend aka Note 10 Lite to the S22 Ultra (for a low price of 350€ from a trust worthy seller). It's an upgrade yeah, but apart from the way better camera, long software support, and the slight convenience of wireless charging, I don't feel like it's a huge difference. My note 10 lite still delivers even when comparing performance in general. S22 Ultra heats up like crazy and loses performance and battery life because of it. I don't know if it's like that in general because I don't upgrade often but I don't feel like I'm gaining a lot performance wise. For that reason, I still have both and change them up occasionally... Would you consider selling the S22 Ultra for about 400/450€ while it's still relevant, save the money up and maybe wait a few month for the S23 Ultra to drop price or just stick with the 22 Ultra instead, in hopes that updates fix some of those issues?

I have a family member who is currently selling the S22 Ultra for 500€ (just the phone). I'm currently rocking a Note 10 Lite with the latest One UI 5.1 and have no major complaints. Is this worth it tho? I've hear how "faulty" the S22 line is, specially the exynos variants.
