Sure they were products of the time period. You had to own land at least to have any kind of power back in the day. They were not perfect but they did have a vision of a government that could work without traditional kings.

What have you been doing for a year, then? Do you stand behind Russia and agree that Ukraine gives up its land to Putin, a known dictator? What evidence do you have that Zelensky is a dictator?
