This is so catastrophically problematic on so many levels. "Conservative" or "right" are valid and legitimate political orientations, just like "left" is. Posts like this that suggest that a political view is wrong are just so closed-minded and fundementally intolerant. These always seem to disregard that there is a disagreement because of ideology and always suggest that "the conservatives'" opinion is of any less value than their own. What the heck?

Thats someones interpretation, certainly not yours either. You could say that anything you do "interferes" with something you would otherwise do. Ate a store-bought sandwich? That "interefered" with the way your brain is wired to hunt the food yourself.

My search history is permanently deleted every time I close the browser. So no, I wouldn't be embarassed at the 20 or so searches I did today

To save myself the hassle of having to rebuild the electron app every once in a while? I'd rather not open my browser, go to their website and log in with 2fa every time I want to read an email.

If thex subscribed because of the interface (ehich is certainly plausible), what would they need IMAP support for? Also, if you really want IMAP, xou can have it, you just need their (open source) Proton Bridge for it (thats a sofrware) so that ut retains all features. But then I would need my own email client.

While flying to NY for a week, I saw some cities on the airplane map that I remember because it was weird to me that there is a "London" in the USA, or a "Berlin". Apparently, Berlin (New Hampshire) is a city of around 10k inhabitants...

I mainly know big cities and the names of some states.

Telegraphs weren't invented yet, they were invented in 1837.

"I try to find out stuff about the world, specifically about materials, using complicated machines that help me do the calculations"

Yeah, something like "We have machines with thousands of switches that can do complicated things depending on how you set the switches. My job is flipping those switches so the machine performs the desired task as best as possible"...?

You don't need to, it's defined. (Lol). If you take a circle with a circumference of 1, then its circumference will be 1... I think I might have lost some braincells reading this.

Yeah, hackers have automated tools and they will, of course, only try each password once.
