TuxedoOS would be perfect for you if you don't need all the remnents of cinnamon stuck in there. It even has the latest plasma version through extra repos/ppa.

Its basically a secure file share/transfer software .Think of something like warpinator or quickshare

It recently got an update. I personally use it along with Warp on Linux using its flatpak. Its compatible with any client that uses magic-wormhole-rs
