They are using YT shorts. The next video auto populates with something the algorithm thinks you'll watch for 15 seconds and it's usually correct. Its like a slot machine. Quick and easy entertainment that people can lose hours in

I have absolutely no idea how this franchise went from an undercover investigation of a chop shop to driving cars into space

This assumes Q was there to actually judge humanity and not begin a dialogue with Picard and the Federation. In his own omnipotent way. It's not a judgement, it's more of a test or like a training.

BNL and Animorphs? What is this a crossover episode?

I trained mine to allow that. It's one of those basic dog ownership things everyone with a dog should work on. Food aggression is bad enough but some day you might need to get something out of your dogs mouth and you don't want to have to worry about getting bitten.

There isn't one, this is the best place for it for now. But if someone wanted to start a new community for stand up posts I'd join

This behaviour isn't because he's famous it's because he's incredibly wealthy and no one has ever told him no.

DDG is my go-to, it's normally good enough. Google used to be better at showing searches so I'd still go check out then if I couldn't find something.

But since their ad strategy changed to favour paid suppliers and their servers are getting switched to handle heavier computing, Google is starting to suck now. So honestly its probable that you'll need to work harder to find what you're looking for regardless of which engine you use.

We have had this same type of decision so many times in our history. Fossil fuels, antibiotics, plastics, AI. And we always have to learn too late that there were big, avoidable mistakes.

Might be better to just accept that and adapt to the fact that we are just horrible at making this type of choice.
