The Michigan Democrat warned that the bill "gives Trump and his incoming administration dictatorial powers to target nonprofit organizations as political enemies without due process."

New documents show how a deceptive PR strategy pioneered in 1950s California first exposed the risk of climate change and then helped the industry deny it.

This sounds a lot like policing women's bodies. If they decide they're done, then we should respect that. Not like its an easy choice

Just speaking the truth, friend. We won't make it out of this without a drastic change and a plan. Trying to blame a bunch of powerless people won't do anything and certainly isn't productive.

This argument here, folks. This is neoliberalism fighting against its inevitable end. If the democrats can't put forward a coherent plan for the future outside of "the other people are worse, but we have to keep them around as friends." I voted blue and wish others did as well, but we can't force them to vote or vote for who we want. It is the job of the political class to earn votes, and sadly, the dems just didn't pull out the win, and we are all worse for it

Websites, radio stations, podcasts, and so forth ought to be stood up by party members with access to money—the Harris campaign and associated groups, by the way, spent about $5 billion losing this election—particularly if they can replace genuine local news that has been gutted by private equity and Facebook, or if they are centered on subjects typically neglected by liberals like sports or gaming. The core strategy is to set up publications with progressive views but likely to have broader appeal. Honest partisanship should be the standard, rather than a pretend above-it-all “objective journalism” that in practice means bending reality completely beyond recognition to benefit Donald Trump.

The American institution is failing and will not help you. Only we can help ourselves. Help your fellow neighbors, help those in need and check in on the ones you love. All these actions and more will be needed to survive into the future, bright or not

Im gonna need you to bend over and lean against the desk for a spanking. If your good i may just bring out the rod as well

Democrats bet on appeals to neoconservatives — including war criminals like Dick Cheney — and touted harsh border policies, bolstering rather than challenging Republican anti-immigrant frameworks.

Kamala Harris may have relied on women to vote for abortion rights, but she promised little more than a potential return to the flawed and insufficient norm of Roe v. Wade, at best. Like President Joe Biden, she supported a genocide and failed to distinguish herself from extremist Zionists like Trump.

For Democrats, appealing to the right has been a disaster of realpolitik, especially in an electoral system that structurally favors Republicans anyway. But what’s worse, Democratic strategies have failed and harmed the most vulnerable communities both in the U.S. and those who suffer under the yoke of U.S.-backed wars.

There is an urgent need for social justice movement organizing, growing unions and union power, antagonism rather than acquiescence to existing power structures, and expansive networks of care and support. The most powerful social movements of the last decades did not primarily build on support from Democratic leadership under Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden. Nor did they collapse during Trump’s first tenure.
